A utilities organisation

This assignment was prompted by the merger of two large utilities in the electricity generation and distribution market. The Metrics were applied to the newly integrated procurement team. The output identified four critical areas requiring learning and development and then the application of world-class procurement practices. These areas were international procurement, cost and price modeling, understanding specifications and contractual risk management. Our client then purchased a USA Utility and we were asked to apply the Metrics to a Head Office and two power station procurement locations. This ensured that all procurement teams were using the same strategic and operational approaches.
