A South African Financial Services Organisation

This assignment was prompted by the appointment of a Group Purchasing Executive, the first in the history of an organisation operating in quite distinct trading Divisions. There were key locations in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. The Metrics were applied to the purchasing teams engaged in facilities management, marketing, security, catering, refurbishment projects and Corporate banking.

The report was submitted, through the Group Purchasing Executive to the Main Board of Directors. This resulted in a new purchasing strategy, savings plan and roll out of a Group Procurement Manual (developed by us) to all senior executives across all businesses.
