A high flying UK procurement manager

This manager had made excellent progress in the procurement profession and had regularly moved from company to company very two/three years. He could not get job interviews having acquired a ‘grasshopper’ reputation. The outcome of the career debate was to urge him to find employment in a multi-national organisation, where the opportunity for career advancement on a global basis was possible. This advice required the manager to re-evaluate his strategy, family identity and long-term aspirations. He later became the Commercial Director for one of the Divisions of the multi-national.
