Construction tender review

This situation involved a national construction contractor who was very experienced in submitting tenders. We were asked to conduct a review on a tender to be submitted to a strategic client. The greatest weakness was the absence of detailed experiences on similar projects. Insufficient detail was given to risk assessment and establishing a local supply chain. We also found that the tender team worked as a disparate group, rarely sharing inputs. The result of this was a tender obviously written by different people. The nuances of convincing the client that local sustainability and providing opportunities for SMEs had not been adequately dealt with.
