An engineering project in Canada

Our support to this project was the whole procurement portfolio. A complex range of electronic-mechanical and instrument packages were involved from more than 30 vendors, each on a critical path. We did the sourcing, negotiations, contract placement and contract management. Later we were engaged in the logistics and shipping arrangements, taking account of the Great Lakes freeze over period. This project confirmed that some procurement departments are not sufficiently resourced to cope with the demands of exceptional projects. We can provide and locate resources at very short notice, making sure that the mobilization for a project is not delayed.
